90 hours (or 6 semester units) of instruction in Real Estate Principles, Practices and Law from an approved school.  Law must include a minimum of 18 hours of Nevada real estate law.

This course of home study is on interactive computer disc and fulfills the requirements for salesman’s license in the State of Nevada. Syllabus

Admission Policy: Courses offered by A+ Institute are open to all persons whether or not they are licensed real estate agents. No person will be denied admission on race, creed, color, sex, national origin, appearance, or sexual orientation. We strictly adhere to all Equal Opportunity and ADA laws and statutes.

Attendance: Students are required to sign a sworn statement acknowledged by a witness (not related to the student by blood, marriage or adoption) as proof of identity, honesty and attendance. Attendance may take place at any location provided the student interacts with the course as instructed for the required number of clock hours. 

Interaction is automatically timed and tracked within the program and will provide an accounting of all time spent in the course. This information is stored in the student transcript record and verification by a selected proctor and the administrator of A+ is required before credit or certificate of completion can be granted. 

Because courses may be time-sensitive, to receive credit the student shall have one year to complete any one course. Courses not completed in one year or less will be considered "abandoned". 

No credit will be given and additional time will not be extended. 

The Administrator may allow exceptions for unusual circumstances or hardship at her discretion.

Homework Assignments: All courses contain all coursework. No other  work is required.

Course materials are available at all locations, call location for computer availability. All courses approved for Distance Education Delivery may be taken at any location provided the student has met all requirements.

Cause for Dismissal: A student may be dismissed and terminated from A+ Institute by the Administrator or the Instructor for failure to pay tuition, fraud, misrepresentation of identity, cheating, abuse or disruption of the electronic communication options or damage to any school property, systems or programs. Dismissed students will not receive certificates. Dismissed students must apply to the Administrator in writing to be considered for re-admission.

Refund Policy: Refund requests received in writing, during the first 40% of any course Student will receive a prorated refund, less a $70 material fee

($299 - $70 = $229.00 tuition). The material fee is non-refundable. No refund will be given after the student has completed over 40% of the course. 

Example: Amy enrolled in our 90 hour pre-license program at $299, and canceled in writing after completing 36 hours of the course. Amy completed 40% of the program (her refund would be calculated as follows: 

Tuition $299.00 less material fee of $70 less 40% of program $119.60 ($299.00-$70.00-$119.60) refund to Amy $109.40.

Examinations: Final exams may be taken once the student has completed the required amount of clock hours and scheduled the exam with a proctor. If you are taking this course for license renewal, you must pass with a score of at least 75% correct. Some states do not require a passing score if you are taking this course as continuing education for license renewal. However, you may take the exam offered at the end of the course without a proctor and will receive your score for self-evaluation. Copying or reproduction of examinations, questions, answers, or explanations in any manner or form is forbidden. 

If you are taking this course as a requirement for a new license (agent or broker), you must contact administrator to receive a Candidate Handbook to take with you to the state exam (required by state). Call administrator at 1(800) 290- 0021 to notify us of your appointed time to take the exam so that your handbook can be delivered to you in time. At this time we will also discuss any concerns you may have and offer additional assistance from the instructors. 

Course Materials: All course materials are the copyright protected property of A+ Institute. Students receive a student handbook, a one-user license to use the CD-ROM/floppy disk courseware, textbook which can be printed from the CD and instructions for completion and directions to report completion of the course. Duplication or copying of courseware and textbooks or any course material is forbidden and strictly enforced. 

Trouble Shooting: Students are required to read FAQs and attempt all applicable instructions to correct any problem BEFORE contacting the administrator for technical assistance. AFTER the student has attempted each possible solution, if the problem has not been resolved contact the A+ administrator. 

Certificates: Certificates are available to students who have paid tuition, completed and turned in a sworn statement of identity, completed the course and (if required) have passed the exam. Students will receive certificates within 5 days from the date the administrator receives valid notification (student transcript) of completion. The school will maintain student's records for 5 years or longer as required by State law. Students may request duplicate certificates.

Instructors: All Instructors have current instructor certificates as required by your State Department of Licensing.

 

**NEVADA HAS NO RECIPROCAL AGREEMENT WITH ANY OTHER STATE REGARDING REAL ESTATE LICENSING. ** Pursuant to NRS, no person shall conduct real estate transactions without satisfying the appropriate licensing requirements.

 

Continuing Education: A+ Institute is a state approved real estate continuing education school. NO credit will be granted for previous training.
